I saw his teacher, and she told me that he was VERY excited about it, and that she was glad it was FINALLY out, because apparently he'd been driving her crazy with it :D I was certain it was going to fall out over the weekend, but it didn't, so I was glad that it finally came out - he hadn't let me try to twist it out because he was afraid it would hurt.
The other tooth is already grown in some (you can't really see it in that photo), and he was extra careful about brushing it last night "because it's a GROWNUP tooth!"
The tooth fairy did come by last night and left him a dollar for his tooth (is that the prevailing rate these days? The tooth fairy wasn't sure).
